How you can help: Your support will allow our Leo Swim & Dive team to train with Olympians, in La Verne, during the upcoming winter break.
While most students go home during winter break, the Leo Swim & Dive team trains. When most students are in bed at 6am in the morning, we are in the pool working to be the next NCAA Champions.
This winter our team has an opportunity to work with those who have reached the highest level in our sport; Olympians. Through our coaching staff’s networks we have been presented with an opportunity to train daily with Olympians. With your support, Olympians will train with the team and teach us skills such as coping with mental preparedness, race strategies, improving technique, improving strength, and acquiring tips on nutrition. All vital components to the success of the La Verne Swim & Dive team. In an effort to spring board off of last season’s 13 new varsity records and a 27 place finish at NCAA Championship, working with Olympians this winter will help continue to move our team forward.
