Cross Country Shoes
The University of La Verne cross country athletes run thousands of miles each year to prepare themselves for competition. Beyond the extraordinary physical and mental demands of the sport, this requires a significant investment in training and racing shoes.
A typical pair of shoes will last between 300 and 500 miles before they are worn down and cannot provide the cushioning and support needed to keep us healthy and injury-free. Most of us will need new shoes every month or two. With suitable training shoes costing upwards of $100 or more, this can be an expensive endeavor.
With a growing roster, we need more financial support to ensure we're able to keep training and racing at the highest levels without worrying about affording our next pair of shoes.
Your contribution will help to offset these costs for the current cross country season and allow us to continue making strides at the local, regional, and national level! We appreciate your generosity!
